Petition urges ‘Israel’ to access COVID-19 vaccination to Palestinians in West Bank, Gaza

Palestine, Wednesday, Jan 13, 2012 (In Palestine Today)_ ‘Urgently make the Covid vaccine available for Palestine’ is a petition that has recently been launched on Chang.org. It urges ‘Israel’ to has its legal and moral obligations to provide Palestinians with the COVID-19 vaccine. We need act to ensure that COVID-19 vaccines are equally and fairly provided to Palestinians living under Israeli occupation in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of people worldwide have joined this petition and more names are being added. To date, over 200 have already signed. The next goal is to grow the signatories to 1 thousand, and for this, we need your help.

The petition calls on the UK Foreign Office to take action against Israeli vaccination apartheid, stressing that it is essential to highlight that Palestinians living under Israeli occupation in West Bank and Gaza urgently need access to Covid vaccination in order to be to reverse the worsening covid situation.

“Any request to Israel for the vaccine is likely to become entangled in political conditions,” says Chang.org. “Palestine is poor and cannot afford enough vaccine for the number of people who would be entitled to it”.
