Bahrain (In Palestine Today)_ Bahraini Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani said Thursday that Bahrain will label Israeli products made in illegal settlements in the West Bank as “Made in Israel”.
“We will treat Israeli products as Israeli products. So we have no issue with labelling or origin,” Al Zayani told Reuters during a visit to Israel.
In an interview with the Times of Israel, Al Zayani said, “I don’t see, frankly, a distinction which part or which city or which region it was manufactured or sourced from.”
BREAKING: Bahrain's Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed R. Alzayani tells me that Bahrain will NOT distinguish between Israeli products made within the 1967 lines and those from settlements. I.e. no labels for goods from West Bank & Golan Heights. More soon on @TimesofIsrael

Bahrain has not yet commented on Al-Zayani’s controversial statement.
Al Zayani said there will be “no restrictions or special treatment or special rules” for Israeli businesses.
“We will treat Israel and Israeli companies like we do Italian or German or Saudi companies, for that matter,” he said. “Israelis are welcome as any other international company in Bahrain.”
Al Zayani made the remarks while heading the first-ever trade delegation from Bahrain to Israel.
Bahrain is the fourth Arab country to normalize ties with ‘Israel’, after Egypt in 1979, Jordan in 1994, and the UAE in August.
