UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nickolay Mladenov, condemned the Israeli army for killing a Palestinian child in the occupied West Bank and demanded a swift and independent investigation into the incident.
He also said that children enjoy special protection under international law and must be protected from violence.
Appalled by the killing of a 15 year old #Palestinian boy, Ali Abu Alaya, near #Ramallah today. #Israel must swiftly and independtly investigate this shocking and unacceptable incident. Children enjoy special protection under international law and must be protected from violence.

Ali Abu Alayya, 13, was murdered in cold blood by Israeli occupation forces during a protest against Israeli settlement activities in the village of al-Mughayyer, near Ramallah.
Palestinians and Pro-Palestine activists from Palestine Online, Palestine Sunbird, and Palestine Defense Forces highlighted Israeli violations against Palestinian children and called for sanctions against the occupation state.
The UN must impose Sanctions on this terrorist regime for killing Palestinian children. The UN is complicit in Israeli Crimes. Since 2000, more than 2100 kids were killed by the terrorist Israeli forces. What Special protection you are talking about.

Many activists and politicians has denounced the fatal shooting of the Palestinian child by IOF.
McCollum called in a statement for the UK-based Middle East Eye on the uncoming US administration of President-elect Joe Biden to investigate the incident.
“I urge the incoming Biden Administration to fully investigate and verify to the American people that no US taxpayer-funded military aid to Israel provided material assistance enabling this taking of a child’s life,” the Congresswoman said.
