Hordes of Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa mosque

Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces on Wednesday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources, 101 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

Some of the settlers reportedly performed Talmudic prayers during the morning tours.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police issued an arbitrary order banning a Jerusalemite young man from entering the Aqsa Mosque for one week.

According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, the Israeli police released Muaad Abu Arafah on condition of staying away from the Aqsa Mosque for one week and coming back again for another interview.

Police forces kidnaped Abu Arafah, a resident of Ras al-Amud neighborhood in the Jerusalem district of Silwan, from his workplace on Tuesday. They also ransacked his office and confiscated his cellphone during the raid.

The police interrogated him about religious lessons he had delivered at the Aqsa Mosque.

In a separate incident, an Israeli court postponed the release of Jerusalemite prisoner Mohamed Abu Nab, a resident of Ras al-Amud, after he completed serving his 12-month prison term.
