In a separate incident, a number of settlers on the same day seized and plowed swaths of land belonging to Palestinian citizens from Aqraba town in southern Nablus.
Aqraba mayor Farouq bani Jaber said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Gitit in southern Nablus plowed privately owned lands in at-Taweel area in the east of the town.
Bani Jaber added that a fight broke out between the settlers and the landowners before Israeli soldiers intervened to protect the settlers and arrested a local farmer called Raad bani Fadel.
