Israeli occupation forces seizes dunum of land to expand Israeli military camp in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, (In Palestine Today)- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday seized a dunum of land and demolished a car repair shop in Bethlehem.

Hassan Brijieh, the director of the Office of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, said that IOF confiscated one dunum (1,000 square meters) in the Baqa’a Basin 1 area, near an occupation army camp at the northern entrance to Tuqu’ town.

The IOF confiscated this piece of land to expand the Israeli military camp.

Meanwhile, IOF soldiers razed a shop for repairing vehicles and a car wash in the area between the towns of Al-Khader and the city of Beit Jala, to the south and west of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that IOF demolished the car repair shop and the car wash under the pretext that they are unlicensed buildings.
