NABLUS, (In Palestine Today )-Several Palestinian youths were wounded on Sunday by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) who shot at Beita Municipality crews while working to expand a road leading to Mount Sobeih in southern Nablus after which young men rushed to the scene and threw stones at the soldiers.
The Beita Municipality said that IOF fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the crews. Two young men were injured by rubber bullets while others suffered breathing problems.
It explained that the IOF bulldozers damaged the road and closed it with earth mounds.
Last Friday, about 400 Palestinians were wounded by live and rubber bullets and suffered breathing difficulties during confrontations with the IOF in the same area.
