Occupied Palestine (In Palestine Today)- Ben & Jerry’s board chair, Anuradha Mittal, said that she has been getting violent threats and racist and misogynistic comments since the announcement of the company’s decision to boycott Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the eastern part of Jerusalem.
In a tweet on her account, Mittal said that she has been getting threats by zionist and pro-Israel trolls, who used racist and misogynistic language against her.
Mittal also stressed that no one should be attacked for standing up for what is right and that Palestinians are entitled to basic human rights.
The senior boss at Ben & Jerry’s had expressed support for the ice cream manufacturer’s decision and refuted claims she was “antisemitic”.
The occupation state had sent letters to Israeli diplomats in the United States and European countries directing them to start an incitement campaign against Ben & Jerry’s.
