Occupied Palestine (In Palestine Today)- People from all over occupied Palestine celebrated yesterday the escape of the six Palestinian political prisoners from Israel’s Gilbou prison as they gained their freedom through a tunnel they had dug.

In Jenin, Palestinians were marching while chanting “Allah is Greater”, “We sacrifice our soul and blood for you, our heros [the six prisoners]” and the names of the six prisoners.

In Ramallah, Palestinians in the streets were also distributing sweets and candies to the residents.

In Nablus, residents of the Beita village, which becomes a site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement construction, were also celebrating the heroic incident during the night confusion activities.

In Hebron, Palestinians were marching in the streets while calling to free all the prisoners held in the Israeli jails and chanting “Freedom is inevitable” and “Loving our great prisoners is divine.”

Six Palestinian political prisoners on Monday managed to free themselves from Israel’s Gilbou prison, a high-security Israeli prison, through a secret tunnel they had reportedly dug beneath the prison.

According to Israeli reports, the six were imprisoned in the Gilbou prison, shared a cell, and tunnelled out of it in the northern occupied Palestine.

The prisoners are: Zakaria Zubeidi, Mahmoud Aardiya, Muhammed Aardiya, Yakub Kadari, Iham Kamagi, and Mondal Ainfaat.
