Occupied Jerusalem (In Palestine Today)- At least two Palestinian young men were injured on Wednesday evening when the Israeli occupation police attacked them and others in Bab al-Amud area of the Old City of Jerusalem.
According to local sources, one young man was injured by a rubber bullet and another had a leg fracture when police forces attacked Jerusalemite youths in Bab al-Amud.
The police also intensively fired tear gas grenades as well as rubber bullets at the young men and used a tank vehicle to shower citizens in the area with skunk water.
Some young men were reportedly chased and caught by police forces during the events.
As part of their efforts to take over the area and facilitate the presence of Jewish settlers in the place, the Israeli police started in recent days to attack Jerusalemite young men and citizens who stay in Bab al-Amud.
