Palestinian detainee Abu Aker’s health worsens as he enters day 65 of hunger strike

Occupied Palestine (In Palestine Today)- Asra Media Office reported that the Israeli occupation transferred the prisoner Shadi Abu Aker, who has been on hunger strike for 65 days, to Kaplan Medical Center after a deterioration in his health.

The occupation’s court proved his administrative detention for 6 months without his presence, due to his deteriorated health. Abu Aker suffers from pains in the head and stomach, loss of balance, nerve problems; he cannot move but through a wheelchair, and might lose sight at any time if his situation keeps getting worse.

Within the same context, the families of Al-Nasera in the 1948 occupied lands organized a stand in solidarity with the hunger-striking prisoners to call for the end of the prisoners’ suffering and to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to release them.
