Israeli forces arrest 14 Palestinians during raids in West Bank and Jerusalem

Occupied Palestine (In Paleetine Today)- Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinians overnight during raids on the occupied West Bank and Jerusaelm on Wednesday.

Local sources said the forces raided several areas across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, searched Palestinians houses, turning them upside-down before arresting 14 Palestinians.

In Jenin, the forces arrested two residents and another two were arrested in Hebron.

In Tulkarm, the forces arrested a former detainee in Israeli jails after raiding his house.

In Qalqilya, another Paletinian was arrested by the occupation forces after they raided his house.

Four others were arrested in Ramallah from the Bil’in village.

In Nablus, the forces arrested the head of the board of Qamat for Documenting the Palestinian Struggle inistitution, Anas Osta.

In Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested two residents.

In Bethlehem, a 17-year-old boy was arrested after the forces raided and searched his house, turning it upside-down.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.

Human rights watchdogs stated that Israeli forces arrested 467 Palestinian citizens, including 135 children and ten women, last October.

There are 4650 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons, including 34 women, 160 children, and nearly 500 administrative detainees.

They added that the Israeli authorities issued 106 administrative detention orders in October, including 49 new orders and 57 renewals.
