Israeli Occupation Forces Invade Palestinian Villages In Occupied West Bank

Occupied West Bank (In Palestine Today)- Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, on Saturday evening, two Palestinian villages near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, leading to protests.

Media sources in Ramallah said the soldiers invaded Deir Nitham village, northwest of the city, after a group of illegal colonizers near its only unblockaded street and closed it.

The incident took place just a few hours after several army jeeps invaded the village, leading to protests before the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Deir Nitham is subject to frequent Israeli invasions and violations, including repeated attacks by the illegal colonizers into its farmlands and orchards who constantly cut and uproot trees in addition to destroying farmlands.

It is worth mentioning that the army constantly blocks the village’s northern and southern roads with iron gates and has a permanent military roadblock on its third and only remaining entrance.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Aboud village, north of Ramallah, leading to protests, and fired several live rounds in addition to rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

In addition, the soldiers closed a dirt road near Sebastia Palestinian town, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Mohammad Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, said the road links the town with villages and towns in Tulkarem governorate.

Sebastia is subject to constant invasions by Israeli soldiers and colonizers who storm the archeological area after the army closes it to the Palestinians.

During these invasions, the soldiers block all Palestinian traffic, in addition to frequently storming homes, abducting Palestinians, and attacking protesters, in addition to removing the Palestinian flag from the site.

In the same context, Several Israeli occupation army jeeps invaded, on Saturday evening, the village of Burqa, northwest of the Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, leading to protests, and closing its main road.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in northern West Bank, said the soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters.

The soldiers also closed the main road leading to the village, in addition to obstructing traffic on the Jenin-Nablus Road.
