Bethlehem (In Palestine Today)-Two Palestinian youths were wounded by live bullets during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Beit Lahm.

On Thursday, the occupation forces stormed the Dheisheh refugee camp with a civilian vehicle, followed by jeeps and snipers.

The Ministry of Health announced that a young man (23 years), who was shot in the abdomen, is suffering from severe bleeding, and was transferred to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital, and his condition is critical.

Local sources reported that a special force stormed the camp with a civilian car, followed by a large force of the occupation army, adding that the occupation forces raided Karim Al-Atrash’s house for the second time within five hours, in search of his son Laith, demanding his relatives hand him over.

The coordinator of the Factional Coordination Committee in Beit Lahm, Muhammad Al-Jaafari, stated that confrontations erupted in the Al-Walajieh neighborhood on the main street of Al-Quds and Al-Khalil, during which the occupation forces fired bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at the youths, leading to the injury of two young men with live bullets.

He added that the occupation demolished walls separating houses belonging to the citizens of Imran Al-Atrash, Shehada Al-Jaafari, and Jad Maali.
