Hundreds of native Palestinians have gathered on Friday on Irmeh mount to prevent illegal settlers from confiscating the mountain. Groups of Israeli settlers had called for a mass raid into the village to grab the mountain.
The mayor of Beita, Fuad Ma’ali, told QNN that “settlers have tried before to control the area but they failed thanks to the efforts of the locals.”
