Palestinian activists ask Air India to not evacuate 300 Israelis tomorrow after Netanyahu warns of lockdown

National carrier Air India, which has evacuated Indians from coronavirus-hit areas like China, Japan, Italy and Iran, is set to play the saviour again, but in apartheid “Israel” this time. It’s important to point out that the two sides have an illegal- extensive economic, military, and strategic relationship. India is the largest buyer of Israeli occupation military equipment and “Israel” is the second-largest defence supplier to India after Russia. From 1999 to 2009, the illegal military business between both of them was worth around $9 billion. Illegal military and strategic ties between both of them extend to intelligence sharing on terrorist groups and joint military training. Moreover, “Israel” is represented through an embassy in New Delhi, and one consulate each in Mumbai and Bengaluru. India is represented through its embassy in” Tel Aviv.”
