Palestine, Sunday, March 29, 2020(In Palestine Today)- Activists from all over the world are inviting people to show solidarity with the Palestinians by participating in #PalestineLandDay.
On 30 March 1976, thousands of Palestinians demonstrated against Israeli government confiscation of 21,000 dunums of their land. Israeli police responded violently to the demonstrations killing six young Palestinians.
“For Palestinians, Land Day presents an opportunity not only to mark a past event, but also to think about creative and resilient ways to further resist Israeli land theft.”
On Land Day, Palestinians demand once and for all that the international community pick the right side of history.
Here are some of the activists’ posts calling for participating in Land Day:
Next Monday, we are launching a Twitter storm to mark Palestine Land Day.

Land Day serves as a reminder of Palestinian’s struggle and demands: “Israel” must revoke all laws that discriminate against Palestinian citizens, guarantee equality under the law and make amends for a historic injustice against them.
