Palestine, 31, June, 2020. (In Palestine Today)- Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists in the UK have been condemning Israel’s plan to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, and showing their support to Palestinian people.
As Israel moves forward with the annexation of the West Bank, and mainstream British politics is gagged of the right to critique Zionism, and Israel’s settler colonial pursuits, we loudly and clearly stand beside our Palestinian comrades.
FREE PALESTINE.

“Israel” has occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem since the 1967 Middle East war. It pulled its troops and settlers out of Gaza in 2005, but the UN says its occupation there has not ended.
On 1 July, Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is threatening that Israel will commence the annexation of a large part of Palestinian territory in the West Bank – in accordance with US President Trump’s plan.
This planned annexation of 30% of the West Bank and the Jordan Valley will culminate years of gradual theft and occupation through the appropriation of land, the forcible displacement of the Palestinian population and the settling of Israelis in the occupied territories. More than 600,000 Jews live in about 140 settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Most of the international community considers the settlements illegal under international law, though “Israel” and the Trump administration dispute this.
On the other hand, the Palestinians – who claim all of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem – have dismissed the plan as biased towards “Israel” and a denial of their rights. Accordingly, pro- Palestine activists: VPalestine Team, Palestine SunBird Team, Palestine Online Team, and Palestine Defense Forces Team, who are defending the Palestinian issue on social media websites, thank BLM activists for their support and deny the annexation plan.
We stand with the palestinian to get their rights. Israel should stop this illegal annexation #FreePalestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸#StopAnnexation

Question: Which country in the Middle East has just recently used a weapon of mass destruction, a one-ton smart bomb, dropping it in the center of a highly populated area killing civilians including children?
Answer: #Israel. #israelicrimes pic.twitter.com/PhQduhPffx— Simon Vrouwe PALESTINE BDS (@SimonVrouwe) June 28, 2020

It’s worth mentioning that solidarity building between Palestinians and BLM activists is nothing new. But in the current moment, there’s no denying that bond is growing stronger.
