Palestine, Friday, 17 July, 2020.( In Palestine Today)- Palestine has seemingly disappeared from Google and Apple Maps, according to social media users, who have flocked to Twitter to voice their concern about the Middle-Eastern country’s absence. Why is Palestine not on Google Maps?
Palestinians and Pro-Palestine activists
flocked outraged to Twitter yesterday as it appeared Palestine was removed from both Google and Apple maps. The activists have used the platform to express their concern as the country was being “erased”!
The move comes while Israel President Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to annex parts of the occupied West Bank.
The threat has triggered global criticism with many countries calling it ‘human rights violation’.
Palestine is recognized as an independent state by 138 members of the United states.
“Denying Palestinians their identity, their sovereignty, their human rights, even erasing the name of their motherland from maps, is surely ethnic cleansing.”
Palestine is older than @Google and Apple.

Israel is a criminal racist occupation that exists at the expense of the lands of the Palestinian people. What is the goal or idea of removing the name of Palestine from your maps and recognizing the criminal Israel?
