Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday arrested a number of Palestinian citizens and clashed with the residents of several West Bank and Jerusalem areas during large-scale dawn campaigns.
Local sources said that the IOF kidnapped at least 10 Palestinian citizens in different areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Over 20 Palestinian homes were raided and ransacked during the raids, they added.
Jaba’ town in Jenin district witnessed violent confrontations between the IOF soldiers and local residents who were attacked with tear gas canisters and stun grenades.
Other clashes flared up in the neighboring village of Anza where the IOF heavily fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at local youths who responded by throwing stones and empty bottles.
No injuries were reported in the incidents.
