Palestine, Wednesday, July 29, 2020.(In Palestine Today)- Luton Town, a professional association football club based in the town of Luton, Bedfordshire, England, has announced they will be dropping PUMA, who are complicit in Israeli violations of Palestinian rights, as their kit suppliers.

The decision has been hailed as a victory by Palestinian rights campaigners, who have been targeting PUMA for its sponsorship of the Israel Football Association, which includes teams based in illegal Jewish-only Israeli settlements based on stolen Palestinian land.
Palestinian activists from Palestine Online have shown Luton Town some love for taking a stand against racism, and giving PUMA the boot.
🇵🇸. Thank you Luton Town Football Team for dropping PUMA, who are complicit by profiting illegally in the Israeli violations of Palestinian Peoples' human rights. Thank you for taking a stand against racism.

Its a reminder to all sports organizations of their responsibilities to ensure their commercial relationships reflect their obligations to act ethically and not be complicit in rights abuses.
